The Syrian army and Hezbollah fighters have discovered one of the largest camps set up by foreign-backed insurgents in Qalamoun region near the Lebanese border. Authorities say the militants used the camp for making car bombs. The army and Hezbollah fighters destroyed five car bombs and confiscated three tons of explosives at the camp. The car bombs were to be used for terrorist attacks in Lebanon. The Syrian army backed by Hezbollah forces has cleared much of Qalamoun of the insurgents. The militants have suffered heavy losses in the region.
