The TEAM TO END AIDS (T2 CHICAGO) cheer station at 22.5 reigned supreme, with Capt. Rebecca Im not Rachel Maddow! Kell leading the way, joined by Yossi Lopez-Hineynu (and his main squeeze Jim), Shari Miller, Helen Bildires, ELana Jacobs and a lovely red-haired young lady named Karen who said she was inspired to come cheer when Katie Schmid came to her class and talked about AFC, and me. We had fun, we had pretzels, we had a revelation when we realized that there were plentiful port-a-potties at the nearby aid station, and (by the end) we had no voices left. All you T2 runners are an inspiration.
