The TEAM for West Virginia Children has one part-time job opening with Mountain State Healthy Families in Cabell County. Mountain State Healthy Families is a voluntary program for families who are expecting or have just had a baby. Family Resource Specialists provide information, referrals, and support to families in their homes. Family Resource Specialist JOB DUTIES: v Develop and maintain professional relationships with community resources. v Contact families who have been referred to the program. v Visit with families in their homes to determine individual strengths and needs. v Make appropriate referrals for families. v Provide follow-up as necessary for families to access resources. v Complete required documentation and maintain files. QUALIFICATIONS: v Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood, or related field preferred v Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills v Excellent ability to build rapport quickly with families v Ability to build professional community relationships v Ability to use personal transportation for home visits HOURS: 25 hours a week SALARY RANGE: $11.50 – 13.50/hour APPLY TO: TEAM for West Virginia Children P.O.
