The THS student council is requesting your support in an effort to help families whose homes were destroyed by the recent tornadoes in central Illinois. We are collecting monetary donations through Wednesday, November 27, to send to victims in Gifford. Please consider supporting this very worthy cause. The Gifford community has requested that we send only money at this point, as they are overstocked with products that have been donated. Checks,made payable to THS Student Council, and cash will be accepted. Donations can be dropped off at the high school office or given to Mrs. Mapes or Mrs. Hazlett, the student council advisors. We will send all funds to a tornado relief fund that has been set up at Gifford State Bank at the end of the school day on Wednesday, November 27. Thank you for your support.
