The TSSAA had denied Clintons appeal on the eligibility of Jaylond Woods. Here is the release from the TSSAA. August 12, 2014 Mr. Dan Jenkins, Athletic Director Clinton High School 425 Dragon Dr. Clinton, TN 37716 Dear Mr. Jenkins: This is in regard to the hardship appeal of Clinton High School for Jaylond Woods which was presented to the TSSAA Board of Control on August 11, 2014. After considering the information presented, the Board members voted to deny the appeal. The student is, therefore, ruled ineligible to participate for Clinton High School on the varsity level for twelve months past his last date of participation for his previous school.
