THE POSITION The role of the machinist is to be familiar with the CNC Milling machines, CNC Lathe machines and the EDM machines. They must be production minded and have a strong understanding of machine and shop safety. Machinist must have a strong understanding that Sea Air Space expects quality parts that are delivered on time to its customers; this will require prioritizing and planning ahead as well as evaluating parts prior to manufacturing. The role of the machinist also is to maintain and clean machines and work area. The machinist may also have tasks assigned on an "as needed" basis. *This Position is a fulltime and permanent position *This Position reports Floor Manager or Chief Operating Officer *Hours: The standard operating hours for this position are based on 40 hours a week, comprised of 5 eight hours a days. However this is a position does occasionally require additional overtime outside of the standard 40 hours depending on customer needs. *Salary: Expected salary range is based on a position agreement *Standard Benefits: This position also provides benefits such as, company health and dental plans, LTD, STD, 401K and Paid Time Off.
