The Tennessean left out that part where then Sen. Black filed suit - TopicsExpress

The Tennessean left out that part where then Sen. Black filed suit against Zelenik demanding commercials detailing Blacks financial conflict-of-interest votes in the State Senate be removed from the airwaves just days before the Primary. The news surrounding the suit took the facts behind the assertions off the front page, a brilliant political ploy. Not sure whether the voters were served. Anyway, that suit was later dismissed with the Judge ruling that Zeleniks assertions were not libelous or slanderous, but were relating facts previously stated by numerous other news outlets who were not sued, or truth is the ultimate defense and Lou Ann told the truth. The courts are used for all kinds of michief, including controlling the outcomes of elections. If you did not know that, now you do. tennessean/article/20140310/NEWS0202/303100080/Diane-Black-says-she-ll-seek-third-term
