The Texas Veterans Sports Alliance Combat Warriors tournament team is making the jump from E class to D class in 2015. So starting THIS weekend and for the rest of 2014 they will be playing up in D. With that said, they are holding try outs to fill 3-4 spots for HONORABLY DISCHARGED Veterans or Active Duty Personnel. Tryouts will consist of weekly league play on Sundays at the Houston Sportsplex and tournament play with either Chosin Few (E Class) or Combat Warriors (D Class). We have room for 2 C bumps and any D bumps who wish to try out. Positions up for grabs for a Veteran are: *Outfield *Middle Infield *3rd Base *Pitcher/EH If you are interested or know someone who may be interested, have them contact eddie@Texas Veterans Sports Alliance.org or reply to this post for more information. Veterans who do not make the roster for Combat Warriors will also be considered for a spot on the Chosin Few tournament roster.
