Subsequently, he shared a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination with his fellow actors from Tom Hooper’s Les Misérables for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. The Working Title movie was nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, winning three; and won three Golden Globe Awards including Best Picture. For his performance as Marius, Mr. Redmayne was nominated for an Evening Standard British Film Award and an MTV Movie Award.
