The Theremin, featured in an episode of the Big Bang Theory and long thought to be the instrument that constructed the theme of the original Star Trek (not true), is a unique instrument in many ways. Mainly because it is the only instrument that is played by not touching any part of it. Despite it not being played as the theme for the original Star Trek, since its inception in 1928 as a happy accident, it has been featured many times both on television and the big screen. Name any movie or tv show where the theremin was used either as a theme or within the content. BONUS: Give the RUSSIAN name of the physicist who founded the instrument, and the research that was being conducted when it happened. Hard Wednesday mah peeps, soak it up. ^_^
