‘The Times of Israel’ publishes a statement by Palestinian ambassador Manuel Hassassian in regards to the prospect of acknowledging ‘Israel’ as a (Jewish State) and matters concerning the ‘Right of Return’ The General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS UK) in the United Kingdom has lately noticed an article published on ‘The Times of Israel’ in regards to a recent statement, which is considered to be unusual and eccentric. The Palestinian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Prof. Manuel Hassassian requested that the Palestinian Authority - leaded by President Mahmoud Abbas to acknowledge ‘Israel’ as a (Jewish State) and hence revise the ‘Right of Return’. GUPS UK demands both the foreign minister Dr. Riyadh Almalki and Ambassador Hassassian to clarify matters immediately.
