The Town of Gawler has developed a Draft Transport and Traffic - TopicsExpress

The Town of Gawler has developed a Draft Transport and Traffic Management Plan (TTMP) which will form the basis for Council’s transport and traffic management actions for the next 5-10 years. The TTMP is a key document for Council, as it identifies the clear guidance and strategic policy directions for transport and traffic measures for Gawler. the TTMP also considers the existing traffic environment surrounding the Town of Gawler from a strategic perspective and at a localised level for the Gawler Town Centre. Concept improvement options for a number of intersections along Murray Street have been developed as well as assessments of all transport modes including pedestrian, cyclist and public transport options. Council is inviting the residents of Gawler to give us feedback on some of the key details the TTMP outlines. There are a number of ways you can assist Council with your feedback, such as providing a written submission and or attending the open house session. There will be an Open House “Drop In” Session Thursday 28 August between 3pm - 7pm at the Gawler Institute, 89 Murray Street, Gawler The format of the open house sessions will enable participants to come at a time that suits them; comment on the information provided; ask questions; and stay for as long as they want. Tea, coffee, water, light refreshments will be provided. There is also a Business Breakfast Workshop Tuesday 26 August 2014, between 7:30am and 9:30am. Please register to attend the Business Breakfast by phoning Costa Morias on 8522 9219 or emailing: [email protected] You can complete a survey online at gawler.sa.gov.au/ttmp or by hard copy available at Council Offices, 89 Murray Street, Gawler.
