The Town of Hillsborough Historic District Commission denied the application of Colonial Inn, LLC for a permit to demolish the Colonial Inn located at 153 W. King St. after a hearing conducted on Wednesday evening. The owner of the Colonial Inn had applied to the Historic District Commission for a Certificate of Appropriateness to demolish the Colonial Inn on June 18.
