The Town of Wilkesboro and the Cultural Arts Council of Wilkes is proud to announce the 2nd scheduled outdoor movie for the 2013 season. The Wilkesboro Outdoor Movies are shown in Historic Downtown Wilkesboro at the Open Air Market site located at 102 West Main Street adjacent to the Wilkes Heritage Museum. Outdoor movies for the 2013 season will be shown on a 33 foot screen. The Wilkesboro Outdoor Movie Series was developed to provide free entertainment opportunities for families in Wilkes County. This summer enjoy outdoor movies in Historic Downtown Wilkesboro on the Third Saturdays June through October. Seating is from 8:00 until 8:30 pm and the films will be screened at 8:30 p.m. or dusk. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. The outdoor movie series is free to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
