The Townsend Fire Station Building Committee will hold a tour and information session on Sunday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come tour our fire stations and headquarters and learn more about the Townsend Fire Station Building Committee plan to consolidate four of its current buildings into one, modern station to better serve the residents of Townsend. The following buildings will be open: Fire-EMS headquarters, 13 Elm St.; Station 1, 272 Main St. (municipal garage at rear of Memorial Hall), Station 2, 460 Main St., West Townsend; Center Station, 8 Elm St. Members of the committee will be on hand at each station to show present conditions within which the department operates and to answer your questions.
