The Toys R Us saga continues. Well, ends actually, poorly. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE of my life! After weeks of calling, emailing and online chatting, with zero results, I finally spoke with a customer service agent tonight, with the fervent intent to either get a new tracking number and arrival date for my purchase, or to get a refund. She attempted to tell me once again that it was a UPS issue. UPS has already told me they never received the package. This call confirmed that NONE of the other reps that I had communicated with had actually done anything to find my package or to help resolve the issue. Even after telling me they would call/email me updates, NOBODY did. God bless my cousin who works for Toys R Us and tried to help me. They told her that if I called (again), I would get a new tracking number and delivery date. They lied to their own employee. So the rep tonight told me that the best she could do would be to send me a new order. I said that would be GREAT, if I could get it by Christmas (again- gift for my niece). Of course, the item is no longer in stock. I thought she was going to cry at that point. I pushed her for the refund, which she FINALLY agreed to process. This is after 2+ weeks of repeated inquiries, a full month after the order was placed. Now I am back to square one on finding an AWESOME birthday gift for my niece in time for my Christmas departure to South Carolina, and out multiple hours of wasted time in calls, emails, and chats to freakin Toys R Us. Moral of the story: Do not order online from Toys R Us! If they misplace your package or screw up your order in any way, youre just screwed.
