The Train to Holy Spirit Park During the night the Lord often speaks to us, dear ones; and last night was such a night, when the night was full of the Voice of GOD; and the consolations were deep and wonderful in Jesus. We were on a train; and it was like that magical, “Polar Express train to the North Pole” that stopped outside the window of the little boy; perhaps, some will remember it from their Christmas season pasts; but, when we were on that train in our dream; we finally disembarked the train and we were carrying this aluminum-like suitcase (a real burden to carry around); going up and down the “escalators” within the dream; and during our travels within the “park” this aluminum-like suitcase was lost; but, we no longer cared about our loss; because all was provided by the LORD in this “Holy Spirit Park” (as it was called by some children who were fellow travelers inside the park). Dear ones, we hear the words of Holy Scripture and the reflections of St. John Climacus: “Let us listen to what the Lord said to the young man who had fulfilled nearly all the commandments; ‘One thing thou lackest: sell whatsoever thou hast and give to the poor and become a beggar who receives alms from others.’” (St. Mark 10: 21, The Ladder of Divine Ascent, Step 2, 4) GOD is calling all of us to fully enter into His Rest; calling us all into the assurance that all that we see around us; those things that we have held of value in the past; all of it is really passing away in our journey Home; and that we are called to become “dispassionate” toward all things and become totally Christ’s in thought, word and deed; preferring nothing before the Love of Christ; preparing now to enter fully into that Rest that He calls you and me to. Dear ones, we struggle top hold onto what we cannot keep; and we try to grasp the things that cannot be retained in our might; for we will all come to the grave and find that we possess nothing; and what will our lives be when we see Him face to face? St. Paul tells us; for the fires of GOD’s Love will reveal the facts in the Day of Christ, when we stand before Him. There is much wood, hay and stubble to be burned; and more gold, silver and precious stones to be revealed; as that Day declares it; revealing what we have done for Jesus as to the sort of work that it is? May GOD hasten the Day when He takes this worthless fellow who writes this morning that he (sinner that he is in Jesus) might learn to Love GOD will all his being; setting side all cares for the Love of his Beloved One. O, hasten the Day dear Holy Spirit of Christ, who proceeds from the Father; and with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified. Abba Anthony
