The Trash and Treasure is fast approaching – this weekend in fact!!! We are hoping that the girls will be able to come and help out as the funds being raised are for the Guide Unit. If your daughter and a parent are able to help on the day some of the money raised will go towards activities that your daughter may be participating in later this year. Saving parents a bit of hard earned cash!! If your daughter and a parent are unable to help on the day you may be asked to pay the full price for any planned activities. Remember we have an overnight camp and a trip to the Dubbo Zoo planned. If your daughter is coming to help at the Trash and Treasure she will need to wear the following: • Full Guide Uniform and sash. Please make sure the sash is pinned to the shirt or we can do this once the girls arrive at the hall. If she does not yet have a uniform just some neat casual clothes. • Black shoes if possible. • If it is going to be cold the girls should wear something light blue underneath the shirt to keep them warmer. Although the weather has indeed started to warm up again! We will meet at the Guide Hall at 08:30 to make sure we are ready to go when the doors are opened at 9 o’clock – no later please so that we can get the girls organised - and close the doors at 3 o’clock. Morning and afternoon teas will be available so we need some help in the kitchen to prepare these. The Leaders are usually kept very busy looking after the Guide stalls and the girls. Please remember that this is also a PR exercise and we will be in the public eye once more. If you are holding a stall please be there at 8:30 to set up or contact one of the Leaders and we may be able to get you set up in the days before the sale.
