The True Church: There IS no one like Jesus Matt 21:1-11; 14-17 -------------------------------- Rather than be impressed with people who think that they are “All that” and are desperate for attention (think of the number of wardrobe “accidents” and selfies), we should look at how they compare to Jesus. Jesus enters the city of Jerusalem as a gentle King, not a conquering hero – and people asked “Who IS this?” He healed the blind and lame. Whatever brokenness there is in our lives, Jesus can make us whole again. Jesus was not an impressive person to look at and did not have worldly wealth (Isaiah 53:2), and yet He is in a class all by Himself (Col 1: 17-20) Jesus really IS all that … and more. What we believe about Jesus does not change Who He is, but it will determine and we live and where we spend eternity (Matt 6: 15). Suggested application: -- Lay your stuff down before Jesus. -- Worship Him as the King, Savior, and Lord of your life. -- Celebrate Jesus. He is worthy -- Let someone know why this week matters.
