The Truth Still Matters Satan Deceived Me Prov. 14:25 “A true witness delivers souls, but a deceitful witness speaks lies” Yeshua says He is love but he also describes himself as the Truth; and we are told to by HIM to love the TRUTH. Anytime truth is compromised someone will be hurt. Just as Satan opposes the truth we are to stand for the truth and oppose the lies. Yeshua said, “If the world hates you, know that it hated me first.” Why would the people hate Yeshua? Because he told it like it is. Paul who wrote what love is stated that love: 1 Cor. 13:6. “does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth” Do you rejoice in the truth even if it stings your heart? I know I have become extremely uncomfortable when I find out the truth about many things and especially when I held onto a religion that not practicing the truth. We often hear “The fruit of the Spirit is love,” but it is also “goodness, righteousness, and TRUTH” (Ephesians 5:9). In our day, the definition of love has been changed to mean tolerance. Love must find its source in truth . 2 Cor.11:14-15 “For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” There is always enough truth to deceive those who are naïve and undiscerning. Paul a true apostle said “But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every mans conscience in the sight of God (2 Cor. 4:2). The apostles were the example to the church of being honest and open in their lives. John addressing the effect of the anointing explains in 1 John 2 :20 “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.” Get back to a real and uncomplicated relationship with Yahveh. Without this we will not survive what is now taking place. In a time of war, peace is fleeting but sought; in the time of deception the truth needs to be unwavering. We cannot keep silent when something affects the core doctrines, or changes the gospel. 2 Cor.13:8 “For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for it”
