The Truth: over 30% of the White people who came to this country were from debtors prisons, and sold into indentured servitude, a 7 year period of slavery that 1 in 4 did not survive. The death toll was higher than 100 years of black slavery and another 100 years of oppression. I am Scots-Irish on my mothers side. It was the children and grand-children of the survivors who fought and won their freedom in the revolutionary war. Being a decedent of a slave is nothing but being free is everything.
