The U.S. Coast Guard rescued a man in a kayak attempting to cross Lake Michigan from Milwaukee to Muskegon, MI. The man encountered 10 foot waves and high winds thirty miles offshore. He set off his emergency locator beacon and the Coast Guard was able to locate him. The mans name is not being released by the Coast Guard. At the time of his rescue Monday morning he was suffering extreme sea sickness, according to the Coast Guard.
