The U.S. EPA only held one public hearing for the Clean Power Plan - TopicsExpress

The U.S. EPA only held one public hearing for the Clean Power Plan Supplemental Proposal for Indian Country. The EPA and Navajo Nation have proposed a very small 4-6% reduction goal of the carbon emissions at the Four Corners Power Plant and Navajo Generating Station by the year 2030. The rest of Arizona has a 52% reduction goal by 2030 and the rest of New Mexico has a 34% reduction goal by 2030. Does the Navajo Nations reduction goal seem unfair or biased? Do you have concerns regarding the carbon emissions and its affects on plants, animals, water, air, and human health? If so, voice your concerns by submitting your comments this week! See details on how to comment below. Comments on the Clean Power Plan Supplemental Proposed Rule must be received by December 19, 2014.
