The U.S. Supreme Court has halted a planned 12:01 AM Missouri - TopicsExpress

The U.S. Supreme Court has halted a planned 12:01 AM Missouri execution of Russell Bucklew about an hour prior to when the planned execution was to commence. Previously tonight the execution was stayed and then the stay was lifted by an appellate court. There were issues of the defendants medical condition, the secret ingredients used for the execution and the desire for the defendant to have the execution videotaped. Why the execution was halted has not yet been made public.
