The U.S. Supreme Court, which today struck down an Arizona law - TopicsExpress

The U.S. Supreme Court, which today struck down an Arizona law that requires people to submit proof of citizenship when they register to vote. The vote was 7-2, with Justice Antonin Scalia writing for the court - and siding with the illegal alien lobbying group the Mexican-American Legal Defense Fund (MALDEF). The decision also invalidates similar laws in Alabama, Georgia and Kansas. In producing this technical decision in defense of the "Motor Voter Law" - the Court has given a huge assist to voter fraud from coast-to-coast. The Court could have used this case to throw out the "I am a citizen" checkbox as the ONLY "proof" required to register to vote.
