The UKs Nick B. will be embarking on this amazing event on his new Cyfac SPIRIT! Theres some nice British Racing Green and French Tri-Couleur! The Transcontinental Race transcontinentalrace/ , Europe’s longest single stage bike race. The race begins in London on Westminster bridge and crosses the entire continent of Europe with check points at Café au Reveil Matin in Paris, Passo Dello Stelvio in the Dolomites and Mount Lovcen in Montenegro before reaching Istanbul. The clock doesn’t stop and the ride is completely unsupported meaning competitors need to carry everything they need. The route covers a minimum of 3200km (and likely a few hundred more) and the organisers take the finish line down two weeks after the start meaning most competitors will need to average around 320km per day. The race stands to be the adventure of a lifetime crossing France, Switzerland, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece and Turkey by pedal power alone in two weeks.
