The UN Committee linked pedophilia among the clergy of the Roman Catholic Church and torture, reports Los Angeles Times. According to the publication, representatives of the committee questioned on Monday for two hours Vatican priests how the church servants consider cases of possible spread of pedophilia among priests. In recent years, the Holy See has repeatedly been criticized in the world for inadequate response to numerous cases of pedophilia by priests and monks.
