The UN General Assembly designated January 27th the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau-as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. On this annual day of commemoration, we honor the victims of the Holocaust and their liberators. If youd like to take part in this nationwide effort, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum continues their important work of Holocaust Remembrance through education and programs.
