The UN Secretary General says countries across Africa are on rise to achieve their potential and has called for continued efforts to ensure war-haunted Democratic Republic Of Congo is not left behind. Mr. Ki-Moon who is in the country together with the World Bank president, Jim Kim, has made the remark during a joint press conference at Entebbe State House. At the same event, President Museveni has reiterated Uganda’s commitment towards efforts to achieve peace in DRC. On his part, Mr. Jim Kim, the World Bank president has called upon the Great Lakes region to start talking about development given that poverty is the source of insecurity.
