The UN Security Council has rejected a Palestinian resolution - TopicsExpress

The UN Security Council has rejected a Palestinian resolution calling for Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank, without calling for an end to Palestinian terrorism against Israel. The resolution failed to muster the minimum nine yes votes required in the council for adoption. It received eight yes votes, two no votes, from the United States and Australia, and five abstentions, from the UK, Lithuania, Nigeria, South Korea and Rwanda. * * * Finally, this administration does something right!Modupe 😃😃😃 Australia is a stable ally of Israel. God bless Australia. But then, why didnt the United States use her veto to prevent the voting? CC: Modupe Omomunmi
