The UN officials were at Hargeisa City on 20th August 2014. Amateurism of Somaliland Government was on shameless display. The UN should not have been invited at all, as long as, their officially stated target, is still to unite the two Somali States. Government officials are impressionable to prestige, and are out of depth, with regard to matters of their functional work. From any viewpoint, presence of the UN, at Somaliland, posed zero positive contribution to the lives of typical citizens. Further, that firm aspiration of recognition by the administration would appear distant from civilian view. It will only construct confusion, from lack of coherent consistency in gesture, by those entrusted to lead. A proper government with acknowledgeable strength, would be capable of establishing bilateral relations with other nations around the world. There is no evidence of ability. The situation, is politically, very damaging. Both, Somali States, still have very long Journey ahead.
