The UP is crazy. I remember going up to the UP in a blizzard with Chris Nelson for his grandparents funeral. I have never seen so much snow and I am from North Dakota! We could not see shit the whole trip because we ran out of windshield washer fluid. Chris would not stop to buy some more like the stubborn bastard he was and we just kept going into the blizzard. The kicker is we get to Chriss parents home and Chris tops up his windshield washer fluid with the damn near full bottle of fluid he had in his trunk!!! Uffda, it was just one of the hilarious adventures I have been on. The next day, the sun was out and we could see. I felt like a rat in a maze as all the roads were tunneled out and the snow was so high that it was higher than most houses. It takes a stubborn breed of Finns to live in the UP.
