The US Constitution was never intended to support rights without equally demanding responsibility. People forget that. Nor does it say, or even imply, that ensuring the rights of one group means taking rights from another, even though the childish brats we have sitting in office and running our media like to make it appear that is how things work. There are important lines that say ensure domestic tranquility and also ...promote the general welfare... . How much domestic tranquility do we see as people are constantly at each others throats trying to ensure their own rights? When promoting general welfare, it means that EVERYONE will have to be willing to compromise at some point in time, in order to ensure that general part. A good way to do this is to place as much emphasis on our responsibility to help ensure domestic tranquility and promote the general welfare by being willing to cooperate more than compete, and to recognize that as a nation we are strongest if we are truly willing to bear one anothers burdens. Theres a Native saying He acts like he has no relations. Thats how people from all ideological and political persuasions in the USA are acting right now, and have been for years, and its downright embarrassing. Based on who is making the most noise, the emotional age of US Citizens is about 12. I WANT I DEMAND GIVE IT TO ME. Then we wonder why other Nations dont show us the respect we demand? We have to start truly showing some self-respect as citizens again before others will show us respect.
