The US NSA, Snowden, etc. The NSA is a symptom. If you think anti-NSA legislation is going to actually make a difference you dont understand how this all really works. The US is run by a corporate-financier oligarchy that has created what we know today as the military industrial complex, big-pharma, big-oil, big-agri, the NSA, the CIA, etc. These Fortune 500 mega-multinational corporations that have monopolized power and nearly every aspect of modern life are the very source of symptoms like the NSA surveillance abuses and intrusions. You are not going to cure the disease by treating the symptoms. You can only cure the disease by attacking its very root - these Fortune 500 mega-multinational corporations. If you are screaming at the top of your lungs in a protest against the NSAs abuses after driving there on a tank of Exxon gas, your thirst quenched by Pepsi, and your hunger sated by Burger King, you might as well be working FOR the NSA. Boycott and permanently replace with local alternatives, ALL the Fortune 500 corporations if you are serious about stopping organizations like the NSA. Sure. It is a big task and you cant do it overnight, but it is something that we must do, little by little each day so that over time we can truly undermine and tear down this monolithic and unjust system the NSA is an outcropping of.
