The US government’s goal for military action against the ISIL terrorist group is to “overthrow” the elected government of Syria, “as Israel and other special interests have wanted from the start,” an international lawyer believes. “The US and its Atlantic World allies play political games pretending to fight ISIS when in fact their agenda remains the overthrow of Syria’s elected government,” Barry Grossman told Press TV on Sunday, using another acronym for ISIL. “There can be no doubt about the fact that the thugs now rallying around the ISIS logo present a very real threat in the region, but the threat is nowhere near as serious as US propaganda suggests,” Grossman argued.
