The US has always been democratic in nature, we have not always been perfect, we had to stand up for minorities to vote, a full vote, we had to stand up for women to vote, we had to stand up for civil rights, we had to stand up for the gayltgb community, now we face again the basic fundamental of what all of this country means and stands for, equal rights, our votes having meaning and purpose. It is as basic as it gets. There is a party, the Republican party, and more accurately a minority of that party that opposes our Democracy. What ever line you draw in the sand as how you see America, remember your vote should, and shall have meaning and its effect to our country.
