The US is in the middle east to control oil and to compete with Russian dominance over these resources. Anyone who fights against the US controlling the region is labeled a Terrorist. (So if Russia invaded Texans, and Texans fought against the Russian troops, it would be like Russian labeling these people Terrorists, Belligerents, or Insurgents and then instead of an occupation, it would be labeled a War of Terror - they would tell the Russian population that you were trying to kill Russians- see how that works?) The myth: Muslims are just crazy , hate us for no reason, and want to kill us because we are so great and free and Islam is inherently violent. The reality: The US has been arming and funding some of the most brutal dictators whose citizens have unemployment rates of 40% (hence all the available fighters). Russia has been arming and funding the other half of the brutal dictators. It is unfortunate no one in US seems to care. The price: The whole world being in constant fear , all money spent on war, poverty , famine, death. As we speak the CIA is funding EXTREMISTS to take out Assad...why is that? My belief: Assad blocked a pipeline in 2009 The myth: Assad was just randomly killing his citizens... The reality: A civil war broke out , the CIA armed opposition groups of Assads...(Not condoning either side just painting a more accurate picture) I honestly believe that if FOX news threw a dart at a map, and made up a lie that the people in that country hated America 80% of the FOX news audience would support bombing and torturing the people in that country. And dont forget to factor the costs of these wars on terror into the price at the pump. (Maybe Solar and wind energy aint so communist after all)
