The US is such a stupid mix of Capitalism and Socialistic ideals. Were so proud of the money we make that we feel entitled to immediately help any country that asks for it as long as its marketable to the public. And then youre fed information to believe were the worlds police because of our inflated ego that we STILL have after WW2. We have a stupid amount of debt and everyone knows it, yet we literally GIVE AWAY our money to third world countries. I know youre thinking, Jon-Carl! How dare you say we shouldnt assist others! We should help people whenever we can! Youre right whenever we CAN. And frankly, America cant, were poor as shit. Its the equivalent of taking out a third mortgage on your home, then giving all of it to your neighbor the re-do the shingles on his roof because they look like they could use some fixing up. What the hell is that. /end rant
