The USA govt has not proved to be a good ally in security matters as it concerns Nigeria in recent time, their foot-dragging technics to matters of the purchase of arms and ammunitions from them for purpose of equipping our soldiers is less than receptive. You can not say you are concerned about the security situation in Nigeria and knowing fully well that equipments to prosecute the war is a major problem and youre approached for assistance in that direction you turned them down severallY only to turn around to come train personnel for same country you bluntly refused selling arms to. Its tantamount to speaking from both sides of the mouth, and double standard too as same USA govt sales arms and ammunitions to other countries faced with similar security challenges. The USA flimsy excuses not to sale arms and ammunition or modern security gadgets to the Nigeria yet claiming to care about the security situation here. I support the Nigeria govt for such action of terminating the training.
