The USCIS-sponsored EB-5 investment immigration visa program is not a get-rich-quick scheme. If fact, it is not a get-anything-quick plan. It is a preferential treatment plan to attract foreign investors to fund U.S. projects approved to USCIS standards. Because the minimum investment is $500,000, and because there is so much at stake with the entire investment being put at risk and out of the investor’s control, we urge potential investors to exercise extreme caution. Chinese investors, for example, must deal with several layers of assistance in China and in the U.S. As far as we know, all official government entities agree with us that each investor should not rely solely on the advice or actions of any person or agency, Chinese or American, without personal substantiating every detail. Fortunately, the ability of any individual to check and verify information is significantly greater today than at any other time in history. The internet search capabilities that are now available to all of us empower investors to be better investigators. Common sense, government warnings, and the investment at stake should be more than enough to motivate investors to verify that everything they are told throughout the process is documented and verifiable. If, as an investor, you are going to err, please, do so on the side of caution. The process may take longer, but you will be best served in the end by being as thorough as you possibly can. - See more at: ift.tt/1tYD2Vz DatSyn News - EB-5 Investors Urged to Exercise Caution
