The Ukrainian democratic revolution as made me believe that the most important office in democracy is that of the people, and sovereignty they say lies with the people. Ukrainian President thought he could hold his people to ransom by tenaciously holding to power, but the will of the masses finally prevailed which signaled the herald of democratic hopes and aspirations so long gratuitously dashed. Viktor Yanukovych will now know that there is no everlasting mandate in life and on no justifiable account should the will of element(people) of democracy be trampled upon with such travesty of effrontery. Indubitably, then, that sacrifice is the ultimate price for freedom and change. To 100 people that lost their lives in negotiation for this radical departure from Yanukovych pariah rule I salute your daring courage. To 577 people that were injured you will indelibly remain the heroes and heroines of Ukraine. And to those out of crass impotence of gumption who maintained do-nothing attitude your callous and fastidious disdain for change will be ingrained in Ukrainian democratic Scroll. Fellow Nigerians, I await your own revolution in due time as we can not just sit down like this and helplessly watch all these disoriented bunch of charlatans to continue adding salt to our injury. But if we want to then, it will be a disservice to history and desecration to memory. Jelili Adesiyan as Minister of Police affairs and Musiliu Obanikoro as Minister of State for defence, hope it is not what am thinking? If that is the stratagem to invade South-West, then am incurably sanguine that it is dead ploy on it arrival.
