One former high profile attorney was Daniel Horowitz whose wife was murdered in Lafayette CA but few noticed that Joseph Welch was beaten by deputies where he won 500k from the county then shortly later sold his property to Horowitz. I am sure that his attorney should have shared his litigation conflicts was he defended the county while near simultaneously was plaintiffs counsel. Its just how they do things around here.
