The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has reiterated its commitment to improving the living standards of Zambians as well as mitigating poverty in the country. United Nations Resident Coordinator, Janet Rogan, who is currently in Central Province to have an on-spot check on the UNDP support programmes, says she is impressed with the determination Zambians have in improving the country’s economy. She observes that Zambians are naturally hardworking people who have a great zeal in taking up informal businesses and thereby contribute to the country’s economy.
