The United Nations Rio+20 Secretariat has just released a special edition of their “SD in Action” Newsletter, featuring a report on progress on the over 1,300 voluntary commitments, partnerships, initiatives and networks launched since the conference. The report also explores the critical need for accountability frameworks to surround these commitments, and highlights the Cloud of Commitments as a concrete example of this type of framework and platform.
