The United Nations should examines the political ecology dynamics - TopicsExpress

The United Nations should examines the political ecology dynamics surrounding material and discursive struggles over the environment in the third world. The role of unequal power relations in constituting a politicized environment should be a central theme. Particular attention should be given to the ways in which conflict over access to resources that linked to systems of political and economic continue in these poor third world countries of Africas should be the first priority of UN and those super powers around the world. As a social science major, I have observed keenly the root cause of crisis in Africa and the rest of the world from unequal distributions of resources and wealth. Liberia for that matter its citizens has been the victims of discrimination of resources and marginalization for the past 156 years. As the citizens grew discontent under these conditions, the consequences can be a prolong conflicts which results into the poor being the victims, and the resources of those countries can be smoked out of the country by other super powers with the connections of those warlords. These things hurts the social, and economics development of those countries. when Liberia civil war was in progress, warlords were selling the country resources as the results development in the country today is on a slow path. United Nations should not allow people that have ruined the people lives and resources to rules them again, I know that every country has its own sovereignty that reflects their political directions, but the United Nations should have some sort of influence into those elections of people in country that have experienced these conflicts. There should be law like the one being established todays with regard to military coups in Africas which prohibited coups leaders that has been marginalized by the international community not to take power. The systems In Liberia todays is from worst to ridiculous, Liberians killed their leaders in the past for what they considered as rampant corruptions and the violations of human rights, todays what they are experiencing under their warlords government is more than previous charges against those they killed. The denied of running water and electricity to citizens of a country for decades is violation of human rights according to the United Nations treaty.
