The United States is the worlds trend-setter. Have you ever wondered what would happen if Kenya was the worlds trendsetter and the whole world looked upon us to define the in-things? 1 - Busaa would be a worldwide brand. We would have big neon boards in New York advertising it. BUSAA ... since 1759... 2 - We would ban the visa of a few Americans to stop them from coming here. For no reason. And offer no apologies... 3 - People all over the world would be singing along to Mugithi, Ohangla, Katitu and the likes. Ken wa maria would be the new Jay Z... 4 - Mzee Ojwang would be well decorated with Oscar awards. Omosh would be the Tom Cruise of Kenya. 5 - When tourists come to visit Kenya, they would go home with all types of weird accents depending on the part of the country they were in. 6 - Orie Rogo Manduli would be the new Oprah. Lucy would force her way to being the new Tyra Banks. 7 - Corruption would be the in-thing. Least corrupt nations would get sanctions. 8 - When arrested, the worldwide statement from police as regards your rights would no longer be Sir you have the right to remain silent, anything you say or do can and will be used against you in the court if law. You have the right to an attorney and if you cant hire one, the state shall hire one for you. The new line would be Kujaa haapa nyangau. Unaenda wavi, unatoka wavi na nyanyako ni nani na kwa nini?... 9 - Do-it-yourself shows would feature topics like how to make changaa, how to survive a matatu trip, how to hassle for a matatu during rush hour and how to trek to work during matatu chaos, walk in the mud like Jesus did on water and manage to look fresh all day and keep your shoes spotlessly black... 10 - Reality shows would feature, The Apprentice Hawker. You get arrested, YOU ARE FIRED... 11 - Kibaki would be the worlds Obama. The whole world would replace YES WE CAN with Kumbaffu! Mavi ya kuku...
