The Universe gives you a big fat thank you! Dear friends, Happy Friday and TGIF! Isnt it a gorgeous and glorious day today? Had a crazy week with lots of fire to put out at work. So much fire that I feel more like a fireman than a CEO, Author or Writer. LOL! On top of that, I somehow made it on moms bad boy list. :( Sometimes we can try our best to help people but they just dont appreciate it and sometimes accuse us of looking out for own own interest . That was the case with mom. I have been doing my best to help my aged mom ( the years are starting to creep up on her) live a comfortable, healthy and happy life. I try my best to remove all stress from her life. Mom is slowing down, memory is slipping and her judgment is getting impaired. It is obvious to everyone that she needs a more structured environment. I have been working hard for the past few months finding a great independent living facility for her. After some prayers, I found the perfect one with low cost, centrally located and has outstanding service. I even brought mom there. She even said she liked it. A few days ago, I spoke to the director at the facility and they told me they had an opening which is extremely unusual since it is usually a one year wait. I said fabulous! Everything hunky dory right? Wrong! I told my mom about it then she went ballistic and even accused me of trying to lock her up in a facility for wackos. I did try to explain and reason with her to no avail. After I hung up the phone with mom, I felt so dejected. Suffice to say, I felt pretty beaten up with my mom and my full time job as a fireman. Well all I can say is that today is the end of an extremely hectic week. Whew! I knew I had to do some heavy duty meditation to put a reset on all the chaos. I also had to release the anger and forgive mom. It is kinda hard to do under the circumstance but allowing the Divine compassion and love to fill my being helped make it easier. When I did, it was so liberating and refreshing. Then I had a long and wonderful meditation that purged out all the negative gunk and junk that was collecting in my Chakra reservoirs. LOL! After the meditation, I became a spiritual iron man shielded by a protective white light but felt a lot lighter but fully energized. I decided to make a proclamation that today was going to be great! I was ready to conquer the world by bringing love, laughter and joy to all I meet. I made an effort to give everyone I met today something special. I started the morning having a wonderful and delightful breakfast with mom. She was somewhat grumpy when I picked her up but I charmed her with my compliments and positive words and soon she was smiling, laughing and having a fun time. Later while waiting for mom as she was shopping, I watched an elderly musician as he was performing his Er Hu ( Chinese violin). He seemed like a nice man but had endured some tough times. I decided to give him some monetary donation. I dropped off some money in his bucket but also told him in Mandarin that his music was quite good. The sparkle in his eyes, smile on his face and the nod of gratitude was priceless. Later I went to the mall and was talking to a salesperson about a product I was interested in. We had a delightful conversation about the product and about life. The gentleman had such a delightful time, he decided to give me a managers discount which was huge! I was pleasantly surprised. Shortly after, another sales person walked by and said hi to me. He had helped me at another Kiosk yesterday on some protective gear for my phone. We had talked briefly about Dare to Imagine yesterday amongst other things. Today, he asked me where he could purchase Dare to Imagine for himself and for this salesperson I was chatting with. I was so delighted to hear this and directed him to get it at a local store. When we forgive, have compassion, release anger, express love by our actions, the universe responds by saying thank you. I am so grateful for such an amazing day but more importantly, I am just happy to be live another day and be of service to all of Gods special children. What comes around goes around. Lets create a wave of love by touching someones life in some positive way. Sooner or later, the universe will come back and give you a big fat thank you!
