The University of KwaZulu-Natal is committed to employment equity DIVISION OF RESEARCH UKZN INQUBATE – FOGARTY MEDICAL INFORMATICS TRAINING PROJECT GRANT ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT) RENEWABLE (PEROMNES: GRADE 10) MEDICAL SCHOOL ROP NO: 15/2014 The administrative officer will administer the Fogarty International training grant in Medical Informatics and provide support for the country co-ordinators and foreign students. Minimum requirements: • Matric/Grade 12; • Valid Driver’s License (Code: 08); • Five (5) years relevant experience in NIH/Fogarty International Centre training, grant administration, including: o Using NIH Career Trac; o Drafting preliminary federal financial reports (FFR); o Managing grant budgets and budgeting o Drafting NIH progress reports. Advantages: • Experience in maintenance of online teaching platforms including videoconferencing; • Use of I-Enabler, My Market, SMS and Integrated Tertiary System (ITS); • Co-ordination multi-centre teaching.
