The University of Livingstonia, has embarked on discussions with the Teofilo-Kisanji University of Mbeya in Tanzania, with a view to establishing a Cooperation and Partnership agreement. According to General Secretary for the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia, Reverend Dr Levi Njombole Nyondo, the expected areas of collaboration between the two universities include: exchange of academic staff, collaborative research programs and a continued working relationship between trustees of the Synod and the Moravian Church. On 27th October 2014, officials from the two universities held a preliminary meeting in Mbeya. Among other delegates, the University of Livingstonia was represented by the CCAP Synod of Livingstonias Moderator, Reverend Douglas Chipofya, and the Synods General Secretary, Reverend Dr Levi Njombole Nyondo.
