The Utrecht University-based Gaming and Simulation in Education research project is still looking for a Research Intern! The Gaming and Simulation in Education research project, in which all faculties of the Utrecht University cooperate, is dedicated to unlocking the potential of simulations and games to support academic education by focusing on new didactic teaching forms. Furthermore, four prototypes of simulations/games will be developed within the project, each of which focusing on a specific domain/issue within the University: Clinical Reasoning; Strategic Management; Ethical Dilemmas; and One Health. The main task of the research intern will be the exploration and analysis of the different ways in which gaming and simulations are already being used within the UU, and possibly other educational institutions. The result, a research project which creates an overview of the current field, will be one of the foundations on which the larger research project will build. This internship will run for approximately 3 months starting September 2014. You will be located at University College Utrecht. There will be no internship fees available but internship costs can be reimbursed.
